Certified in conformity to the ISO 9001 Standards, all the lighting fixtures are made in Italy and certified with several marks, such as ENEC, CESI, RINA, ATEX, IECex, NEMKO and QL (LED certificated against photobiological risk). QL LED lights fixtures reduce the energy amount required to reach the same level of illumination of traditional incandescent and discharge lamps, reducing the energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
Each fitting is 100% individually tested with 24hr burn-in tests in our Italian manufacturing facility. All products are certified to the latest European standards. Expertly made in Italy all products are professionally distributed within the UK through Lewden. Our experienced lighting product designers continue to work with specifiers, architects and installers as they strive for excellence in meeting the ever-changing needs of customers.
A part of the Lewden Lux promise is a comprehensive lighting scheme designed to your requirements in accordance with the latest standards. Lewden Lux can provide you with the technical support required for design and installation of your lighting project. Using 3d plotting techniques, experienced lighting professionals will provide a detailed plan showing the optimum light levels and fixture positioning. We support you through every step during the realisation of the project.
Our LUX range of light fixtures is totally protected against ingress of dust and the effects of being subject to powerful jets of water and temporary immersion inside water under pressure conditions and duration as defined in the international standard EN 60529 (British BS EN 60529:1992, European IEC 60509:1989)

ISO 9223:2012 establishes a classification system for the corrosion of metals and alloys, corrosivity of atmospheres, their classification, determinations and estimation.
It defines corrosivity categories for the atmospheric environments by the first-year corrosion rate of standard specimens and makes possible an informative estimation of the corrosivity category based on knowledge of the local environmental situation.
Our lighting fixtures have a range of corrosion classes from C3 to C5 that makes them suitable for exterior installations in urban and industrial environments with low to high levels of pollution or coastal areas with low to high concentration of chlorides and interior manufacturing spaces with high humidity and high air pollution, for example swimming pools, chemical plants, buildings or permanent condensation areas.
Corrosion class | Typical environments examples | |
---|---|---|
Exterior | Interior | |
C3 medium |
Urban and industrial environments with moderate pollution or coastal areas with low concentration of chlorides | Manufacturing spaces with high humidity and low air pollution, for example swimming pools and chemical plants |
C4 high |
Industrial environments with moderate pollution or coastal areas with moderate concentration of chlorides | Manufacturing spaces with high humidity and low air pollution, for example swimming pools and chemical plants |
C5-I very high (industrial) |
Industrial environments with high humidity and high pollution | Buildings or permanent condense and high pollution areas |
C5-M very high (marine) |
Coastal and marine areas with high concentration of chlorides | Buildings or permanent condense and high pollution areas |
